    Misfire starting engine when warm - CEL & Codes: P0300 P0301 P0302 P0303

On 4 separate occasions I've had rough idle and misfires with codes on 3 of 4 cylinders. P0300 P0301 P0302 P0303

Each time the misfires happened after shutting off the engine for about 15-20 minutes. The engine was at operating temp after being driven for several miles.

In each case, the problems corrected themselves after letting the car completely cool down.

I have never had misfire issues on a cold start. Only when warm.

I am about to replace coils and plugs but interested to know if there is something else causing this problem?

    Thanks,
    Ken

I would pull plugs and see if there's like oil on them. Especially if it's only when the engine is warm.

Turned out to be the coilpacks.

I pulled the plugs and they were pretty fouled.

Anyhow, swapped the plugs and decided to re-use the old coilpacks to confirm the problem.

    Sure enough, same issues.

Replaced coils and so far, so good. I'll post again if the problem continues.
