Wiring diagram for gauge cluster?

I just bought my 2007 RS4 and found out the engine light led has been removed from the gauge cluster at some point. Seeing that a replacement cluster is $1600 I want to wire in a replacement but need to find a diagram for the cluster to see if that is possible. If anyone had this diagram I would really appreciate the help.

IMO, the first step should be contacting the dealership/PO and having them make things right. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to remove that light, no?

Pretty sure it is, started that process already. Slimy car lots! In the meantime I want to fix my car so that it will pass an emissions test. Does anyone have a diagram?

I've done a lot of replacement light bulbs on a lot of clusters, and it should be fairly simple.
If you can remove your cluster, pop off the needle and take gauge faces off you will see a missing Surface mount LED. You can get them cheap on ebay, just solder it back on.

Is this an audi stealership that sold you the car? Also how did you figure out the light was removed? When you put the ignition on the engine ligjt never lights up?

Just a small dealership. They are doing a good job of acting stupid. They sent it out to their hack mechanic for a CEL and it came back with no cel. I noticed with key on it does not self check, pulled cluster and found the missing led.
