So, my stereo in my b6 3.0 is not outputting sound. The lights on the stereo work fine as well as the amp. I verified all of the fuses to be sure that I didn't skip anything. I've searched previous threads as well and their simple fix was removing the fuse/battery and replacing, yet that has not resolved my issue.
Current status: radio has an aux-tape inside that I use for my iPhone and the stereo will not let me eject it. I've also tried switching over to the cd and the display says there are no cd's although there are all 6 slots filled. Also, when I do turn on the stereo I receive white noise that seems to bounce at different pitches.
My concern is that there might be an electrical problem with the wiring possibly. I'm not much of an electrician, so it's hard for me to know how to diagnose this. Weird thing as well is that when I do turn on the radio I receive multiple pitches of white noise--the difference in pitch seems to occur whenever I hit a bump in the road or anything that mildly jerks the car.
Note: I have NOT removed the stereo to diagnose any other possible issues and wanted to address it here before I purchase the keys to remove it.
Hopefully this hasn't been answered yet, because I don't want to be that guy; but if so, hopefully there's an easy fix to this problem
Thanks!
