    How to Re apholster S7 HEATED steering wheel?? Does anyone know

    My steering wheel is in major need of new leather and stitching.

    I have a 13 S7, the previous owner destroyed the wheel. How do I replace the fabric while keeping heating, and not replacing the entire wheel!? If I have to replace it all, where is the cheapest place to get the new WHEEL ONLY with heater built in.

    I got lucky on eBay and found a brand new wheel with heating and without airbag from Romania. My previous owner was a smoker, likely wore gold large rings and had greasy hands (and maybe hair lol) that resulted in cuts to the wheel, numerous wear marks, frayed thread and oily shiny leather. I would suggest, safest bet is to make sure you have the exact same buttons and features and re-use your airbag to avoid issues - don't aim for an R8 or flat-bottom wheel. Best bet is an S6/S7 wheel IMO. I also transplanted the S6 badge and aluminum shift paddles. It was less than $400 including shipping.

    Hey, notn41 -

    I have a 2013 (in box) heated steering wheel (w/ airbag) for a Mk1 S6/S7 in excellent/like new conditions. It was upgraded to the larger shift paddles (after being removed for a flat bottom steering wheel swap).
