    Replacing Valve Cover Gaskets

    I'm sure it's been done multiple times, just haven't seen any threads about it. Both of my sides are leaking so it's time to tackle it. Will do plugs and coils whilst in there. Any tips or tricks for the experienced on this platform? Thanks.

    Make sure the gasket sealing areas are super clean (oil-free), and use the VW/Audi specified anerobic sealant. Follow the cover-bolt tightening sequence and torque specified in the factory service manual.

    Preciate the response. I'll check with Alex at Eurocode to see if he can get me the gaskets and sealant.

    Why are you replacing the coils? Check the continuity with an ohms meter and saved a fee bucks ;)
