need help replacing fog lights please

so all the DIY and pics I've seen for replacing the fog lights on an A3 show some tabs to get the fog lights out

on my A3 i dont see any tabs to put a flat head in to get em out...the front is just flat plastic no access points that i can see, does something need to be popped off by hand or will i need to take whole bumper off?

i have a 2006 a3 3.2q s-line hope this helps as im hoping to change the dull bulbs out to some Ion Yellows in soon before the snow comes

Hmmm, los, that sounds odd. Are you saying that your grill is different from the diy pics and from everybody else's? Perhaps you could post pictures of your grill, that may help to get some new ideas.

Well, thanks for the pics. Now we see more but like you say, all I see is that one opening - for height adjustment screw I suppose. Would it be possible to grab, squeeze and pull out on the middle plastic bar ? If there are no other screws you would think that it is a pop in / out deal ...

well i found a video on some site called Car Kiosk i think, just basically jack side of car up some, take out like 4 screws right under the light and they pulled bulb out...well didn't work like that for me wit average size hands plus everything else Audi crams in that space such as washer fluid and one of the horns.

After jacking up one side the car, unscrewing 4 screws and bending the plastic underbelly down some i just felt around for the tabs while pulling on that middle piece on the grill and it came right out. then unscrew 3 screws holding the foglight on the bumper and changed the bulb.
each side took maybe 5-10min for me and i also cleaned out some of the lil rocks and pepples that get collected between the bumper and that grill. think biggest problem was just getting the grill to go back in right and the tabs popping back in place. the upper tab to the middle of the car on both sides gave me the most trouble.

just pull on the plastic cross bar in the middle and stop being a pussy. They essentially snap in place. They are 2 pieces that fit together that cover the fog light. Go ahead, use some elbow grease, no tools required.
