Looking for 2006 A4 owners who did symphony 2 to 2+ mod, please help!

As some may know, The A4 B7 2006 (base) is the only one that had the symphony 2 (with cassette) from factory. 2007 and + have the symphony 2+(cd only)

I did the conversion to the 2+ successfully from diagrams shown on post #15:
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ntenna-adapter

After the install I wanted to recode it to activate AUX BUT my VAG-COM cannot communicate with the radio as I get the message: NO RESPONSE FROM CONTROLLER.
I triple checked and the wiring is all good. I also returned my original symphony 2+ to seller and bought another one.
Same story with the new one, the issue is not my vag-com, it work with all other controllers of the car and also worked well with my original HU.

Any idea what could be wrong?
Kline wire is connected to the right place.
Don't know what else to look...

    Thanks

If it can't communicate then you don't have both K-lines connected right.

Charles, Here is the wiring of the 2+ below. Circled in red are the communication wires: Kline, Can
low and Can High. Are you sure there is 2 k wires? There is something I missed I guess.
    Thanks

Those are the same symptoms my rns-e had when I forgot to swap the Bose and can line pins when I swapped it. Your just missing one of the can lines that's all.

    Thanks for the help!
