    Washed the car today...

It was finally not too cold outside to shy me away from being productive so I took advantage of that today and did something useful! This car still needs so much cleaning but it has come leaps and bounds from what it was a few short months ago, and I'm slowly appreciating it more and more even as neglected as it is. I have it posted for sale locally so I can go and get another one with a PERFECT body and a clean title that apparently pukes oil. I think I could come out on top of that deal if it works out the way I'm hoping lol.

Since I've got the alternator replaced and the car running again I've had the pleasure of discovering what other problems there are. It seems that it needs brakes, control arms, and possibly tie rods to go any faster than 45mph lol. Wheels have a pretty hefty vibration at highway speeds and during almost all braking so that's next on the list. Slowly but surely!

    Anyways, here are some pics

    and today:

    I also notice this today....

    lol wtf

Interior wise the S6 I bought was maybe 50% of that, yet I still have not had the time to do a FULL scrub and clean, have done the spots, but still needs more! Looks good.

Thanks guys, it's honnestly just been a little bit here and a little bit there. I suppose some of this comes more naturally to me though as I've done professional detailing for a number of years.

Appreciate the feedback, now I just need to come across the means for the maintenance issues lol

$1600 as it sat with a Salvage Title and 113k miles. Needed brakes, Control Arms, and TB service. I was hoping for $2k

Salvage title is no big deal assuming the car was never in a big collision. If the body is straight and original, that guy got a steal. Put a lot of elbow grease into her, so 2000 would have been fair in my opinion.

I thought so too, but the kid was in college and drove a busted ass early 2000's mustang. I wanted him to have a car he would appreciate, and that's one car out of my driveway.

Now I just need someone to buy the 20th so I can buy an Allroad. Perhaps someone will offer me one on trade :P

Funny I was looking at it wondering if it had been involved in a front end crash.

Bumper is from a 2002+ facelift car, headlights are from a 98-99 as well.

Ol' girl has had a rough life, but at least she got some pampering before you sold her off.

    You did your thing!
