    VAG-COM Mod - Gear indicator

    so for some reason when i try to set it to D on / S on i keep getting this error. anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

    I got the same error/prompt did some googling and the solution I found was to put in 12345, 123, 12345 (Workshop, Importer, Equipment) as the codes.
    The last paragraph on this page is probably what I was following at the time >> http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/recode_screen.html
    No issues so far with doing so, but I haven't gone for service yet.
    Curious to see what others did who encountered this?

    Not sure how much it's worth worrying about. Maybe a call or email to Ross-Tech to get a more official answer is best...

    thanks guys! i think you are right, i have been pressing No on that dialog box for all the other codings and it has been working haha. will post back after i try this in an hour or so
