    Windshield Squirter Tubing Source

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello all,

I've been gone for a while, but I figured I would return in true Audizine fashion by asking you to help me fix my car. I'm trying to find the corrugated Tubing for the windshield wash jets to the pump, and haven't had any luck. Does anyone know if this is standard tubing if some kind; if not, would this have a VAG part number?

I now live in North Carolina, so my windshield squirters are more important than when I was in San Antonio.

    Thanks
    -Rich

Yes! I think 23 is the ticket! I'm assuming 21 is just rubber hose used as couplings, so I shouldn't need that. Thanks, I can always count on your Clicky-click®'s.

I think it was my constant opening and closing of the hood that caused that section of hose to fail. Always Under Diagnostic Inspection.

I used I believe 1/4 washer hose to patch the correlated plastic when I got a new hood. The plastic fits inside of it perfect and has been leak free for over a year

Mines broken too right where it bends as the hood goes up and down. I just used a piece of silicone tubing and some adapters. No need to replace entire line. I found the silicone is much more flexible so its better suited for that area then the stiff corrugated plastic tubing.

I need to do this with mine as well... I've "patched" the line in two separate spots and now it's leaking from another spot... Danm -20 Celsius winter weather bringing out the little gremlins in my Audi lol

The kicker; I'm pretty sure it's my headlight washer fluid pump that's the main problem, which the previous owner disconnected.. So they don't even work...

Edit; sorry for the thread jack OP.

When I purchased a new pump, it didn't come with the seal for the tank.

As for hose, is probably just get generic braided hose compatible with methanol/alcohol that was close to what is probably a metric ID/OD

Since we are on the subject anyone ever replace the nozzles for ones that spread the fluid instead of straight stream?

Very old thread. Can't vouch for accuracy. It was many moons ago:Clicky click®

There is definitely a plug avaiable for the headlight washer hole as I just took apart a parts car and it did not have the headlight washers. To bad tank was busted and thrown out other wise it was all yours.

I know ppl have used passat fan style squirters and there's a DIY around somewhere. I'm also interested in going to the fan style washers.
