    Armytrix vs Miltek Valvesonic

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Does anyone have any comparison info for the difference between these two systems? I know I definitely want to go the valved exhaust route, so please refrain from posting about how great your AWE exhaust sounds. Trust me I believe you, its just not for me. Also which system is louder with valves open, armytrix or the miltek system.

    Thanks guys!

I dont have personal experience with neither of the two but based of the youtube videos I've heard, the Armytrix is alot louder with open valves.

Haven't heard a Miiltek in person yet but I love my Armytrix. Guessing the miltek is also a really great exhaust though, I've loved everything I've bought from them... I can't imagine it being anywhere near as loud as Armytrix fully open though.

The Armytrix is significantly louder. The Milltek has a deeper tone/sound and is not as raspy. Personally I was never a fan of the Milltek sound, but thats just one opinion.

I don't have the Valvesonic, just the standard non resonated version. I absolutely love it. It's not loud at all when your cruising along in town...bury the accelerator and it's a whole new world. It has a nice deep tone. I was going back and forth between the Amrytrix, this, and an AWE system. I'm extremely happy with the choice I made.

Is the valvesonic open valved the same sound as the regular miltek non resonated exhaust?

I would believe so, but don't hold me to it. I've never heard the Valvesonic version in person. I'm lead to think that with the valves open, it sounds like my car is all the time. With them closed, it sounds quieter (comparable to stock). Again...I am not certain that this is true by any means.

they actually are different. the standard miltek system has a single exhaust output with either an oval tip or quad tips, but ultimately the exhaust comes out of a single output. the valved system has a true quad output, with the valves open all for outputs are opened, with them closed the inner outputs close.

also this system uses a shallow x-pipe up front and no resonator where the standard miltek has a H-pipe upfront with a resonator.

The fitment issue applied to B8.5's with the sport diff. Armytrix has revised the exhaust accordingly. I know because mine is the revised version and it fits just fine.

    Armytrix vs Miltek Valvesonic

So is the armytrix the most "Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde" exhaust of all? I want no drone and super loud on demand. Depending on my mood lol

So theoretically it should be louder than the standard exhaust, right?
