Hi gang,
I'm certainly not new to high performance cars but this is my first Audi. The local dealer had a 2015 S4 Prestige Edition that never sold so I managed to get a pretty good deal on it yesterday. I don't have a lot of time with the car yet but:
- It has the smoothest transmission of any car I've ever owned. By a long way.
- It has the best headlights of any car I've ever owned.
There is a LOT to learn and it isn't always easy to figure out. Things I had to dig up on forums:
- How to stream music from an Iphone. I kept trying to get it to work over Bluetooth. It would work, but there was no way to navigate the albums/playlists, etc from the car. I kept having to do it from the phone. Finally found a post saying I needed the MMI Connect App which actually sends it over WiFi. Got that working.
- How to send a destination from the MMI Connect App to the car. It kept saying, "Successfully Sent" but nothing happened on the car nav. I finally found a post describing how to find the destination under Nav/Route Guidance/Online Destinations/Find Destination from MyAudi Account. Sure enough it was right there...
- Took a few tries to get the Homelink to work with the garage door opener but that seems fine now.
I think that's about it so far. Oh, I still need t "train" the voice command system...
