    HELP! Misfire Codes still coming up after changing coil pack

    Hi everyone,

    I was hoping someone could shed a little light to my situation. I have a 2005 S4 with 95K, 2 weeks ago, I got out of work, started up my car, instantly had the check engine light come on and the motor was shaking like hell. The car would barely drive because it felt like it was going to die, ended up having it towed home. Before going into work, no CEL was on and the car was fine. Changed coils and spark plugs because of the misfire codes that were given from the scanner. After the coils and spark plugs were changed, plugged the scanner back in and still receiving;
    - a random misfire code and
    - misfiring codes for cylinders 1 & 3 and no change in any of the symptoms.

    I've been searching these forums like crazy for a little guidance as to look at next. Timing chain tensioners/guides???...I read that what I'm experiencing are potential symptoms of that. Anything is helpful! Thanks!
