    HELP! Code - P0507 b8 s4

    Hello everyone,

    I have a 2012 audi s4 6MT - 34k

A couple days ago the car started idling really rough, jumping from 800-1200 rpm, sometimes staying really high sometimes dropping low. Warm or cold doesn't make a difference. It also has smoke coming out of the exhaust from cold start, large cloud of whiteish smoke. But after the cloud goes it just acts normal.

The codes I got when checking it with my vag com were
p0507 - idle control system RPM
p2279 - leak in air intake system
p0068 - map/maf - throttle position correlation ( tried throwing a new map sensor I had laying around, no help)

After clearing these codes only the p0507 would come up. I haven't found anything online that was helpful with any of these codes, looking for any insight. I've been puzzled for days.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a vacuum leak or stuck/leaky EGR valve?

Not positive, have been looking with no luck. I think I might need to replace the PCV' because it eats oil as well and a lot of b8 owners have had that replaced for oil consumption issues. I'm wondering if it's possible that they could be linked.

If I do have to replace the pcv. I will do a diy. Nobody else has one yet.

Did you manage to repair the car?
