Dealer flash and APR tuning help for S7

I have a '14 S7 with milltek straight through track exhaust with no cats and a shortram intake. I bought this car like this and am concerned that if I take it into the dealer and have the MMI and system flashed to get rid of some issues and report the misfire/transmission problems they are going to blacklist the car. Does anyone have experience with dealing with the dealer on these types of things? Also, the tune that the car has leaves quite a bit to be desired. At the top end of the gear it falls on it's face, runs really rich during normal operation, etc. and I am thinking of going to the APR stage 2 tune with the DSG tune and wondered if anyone had done that and what their experience is like afterwards? I have which speaks to part of the ask (blacklist concern), but I am wondering from the APR folks that might have the same exhaust as me as well. I think stock tune throws a light for that exhaust.

I was going to get the MMI update and was told to pull the tune first. Haven't done it yet, but I'd remove before doing the update.

I have the GIAC tune for both and it is awesome! Car is a beast.

What MMI update are you guys looking at getting? There is a guy on here who will get you the newest update available for your car depending on what version you have. It's really simple to do.

Read through this, it talks about maps and mmi updates. Philip is the man. I'm not sure if you have the same software as S4 though. Find out your current version in your mmi and cross refence this thread.
