Repair Front Air Bag Crash Sensor Wire

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
The connector that goes onto the front crash sensor broke off. I would like to do a proper repair on the wires so I can get this air bag light to go away. I'm guessing I'll need a repair wire and a new connector but I'm not sure what to buy. Any suggestions would be helpful.

This is how it looks now

I know I will need this connector

Anyone know the proper way to repair this?

ECS tuning also has pre-made repair wires that you can use with that connector. I believe you can use this repair wire. Clicky click® Cut it in half and you have a connector for both terminal ends. Add a wire seal and you are done. Clicky click®

    Awesome. Thanks OG.

After I made this thread I ended up speaking with DiertyEuroSpec and he's got the parts from a parts car that I will probably use. I'm glad to have a solution for if I have to deal with this in the future. Hopefully it will help somebody else if they ever run into this thread as well.

A bit of a necro bump, but I am trying to do this repair also and need a new connector like the one you posted here. I can't seem to find it on ECS anymore; do you remember where you found it or the P/N?

I bought a used pigtail on ebay and just spliced the wires. Just make sure you disconnect the battery and match the brown with the brown and you'll be good. I finally did this repair like a month ago. I used heat shrinkable butt connectors and no more air bag light. This should be just what you need. Click
