    Knocking sound when turning

Anyone have a similar experience before? Get a knocking sound from the front when turning sharply to the right or left. More so when the wheel has been turned more than 3/4 of the way. Noise is more pronounced over bumpy surfaces. Its like a knock/clunk that can often be felt through the pedals or passenger footwell. Car going in to Audi on Monday and research I've done seems to suggest a ball joint problem. Car has only done 8000km (+/- 5000 miles)

Nothing through the steering. Only pedals.
