FWIW, Ive been running Pirelli Sottozero 255/40/19 on stock wheels & no spacers, and I have yet to rub in the front, even in larking lot maneuvers at full lock. Rears will rub the fabric liner on heavy compression, but just barely. No complaints! (in a perfect world they'd be narrower Nokian Hakka R2's, but this was a deal I couldn't refuse)

yea theres a good deal for some almost new Hakkas with 245/40/19 so i figured it mayyy work. I rub right now with hard compression so prolly not the best idea for me haha

Those are going to be a solid 1" larger in diameter than stock. Not sure you want to do that.

Here is your comparison, although I find the winter tires are smaller than summers, especially Pilot Super Sports

    hmmmm

so the diameter difference would be 0.67inches or 1.75cm bigger.

with this being less then a 3% difference, my only concern would be how well it fits in the wheel wells.

at this point i have a choice of spending about $800 on an 18inch winter set or spend twice that amount and get OEMs on 255/40/19 blizzaks
