Thanks for all the help but I am saying good bye to this sub group and will now be frequenting the B8 group. I sold my 2004 B6 S4 MT6 and bought a 2016 B8 A4 MT6 with the S Line Comp Plus Package. The S4 was requiring too much daily attention and with 120K plus miles and no timing chain work to date, I was afraid it was just a matter of time. The new A4 is nice and the interior, sport seats, body kit, etc, is awesome... but the 220 HP turbo 4 banger is no match for the old S4 especially with the extra weight of the B8. The car is a more show than go, but all in all, a nice compromise especially in terms of gas mileage improvement!
