Better than OEM Timing Chain manufacturer for our B8?

Does anyone have any source for a better timing chain then the OEM one?

Going to do the internals of the engine and wondered if any one made or has sourced one out here...

There has been an updated timing chain put into production since the start of the B8 platform. Very stout, worth the investment if you're doing internals. Timing chain tensioner was also updated.

The updated tensioner only appeared in engines after about a Sept 2012 build date (build date of the engine, NOT the chassis). I suspect the newer chain designs also started in engine production at this time.

As in when you're buying one? Or, what is on the engine now? They'll only sell you the updated parts now. As far as the chain, you can see it with the upper timing chain cover off. The tensioner requires the lower timing chain cover to come off which means the front has to go into service position.
