Well gents, I had to get rid of the car, not many serious inquiries while I had it posted for sale. Ended up trading in towards a VW and got what my asking price was. I was driving way too much and had to cut some costs on insurance/gas and wasnt really up for future potential maintenance. I traded in the car in northern VA so if you're interested in tracking the car, I can provide the VIN. She was a damn good car and in pristine shape. Ended up going with a 2016 jetta sport 1.8t and GODDAMN she is slow. I knew what I was gettin in to though because the whole goal is another car with a "S" or "RS" badge again within a few years time most likely. however, I really like a lot of the other features on the car. Its also the first generation of jetta to get bixenon lights (a must have for me) that was not the GLI. On day one I average 35 mpg so Im happy with that. I have a weighted JHM delrin knob with all the bits, in perfect shape, Id be willing to part with $90+ shipping. Ill post it up in the classifieds. PM me if interested. Ill still be lurking around Im sure. Its been a good time!
Some highlights....
My first audi
My second Audi
Ive got some H11 LED's from VLED's that I used in my foglight housings. They were bright as hell. Id part with these for $60 plus shipping. I have resistors with h11 connectors (plug and play) that Ill include for another $10 as well.
Shitty pic of the new car
Heres what I immediately missed about the s4, a car that is 9 years older than the new 2016 jetta mind you
Anti dazzle mirrors
Recaros
Tilting passenger mirror
My short shift kid
The power
The JHM throttle response :-)
As I said, the move was kind of a necessity for me right now. The jetta is a nice little car for the money though thats for sure. And using 87 octane is also great on the wallet. PM me with any questions about the JHM knob or the LED's. Ill post them in the classifieds!
