Driving on local it seems like I only get around 17ish 18 mpg on highways 23-24 on comfort mode.

Would there be a difference in mpg from comfort mode to auto mode?

    Probably a stupid question

if i set cruise to ~70mph, i can manage about 25-27mpg on a trip. anywhere close to or over 75mph and i see a 3-5mpg drop. that's been my observation after several trips between SF and LA. i believe others have had similar experiences. i dont' think it's mode specific unless you're racing/weaving thru traffic or something.

    No.

fwiw, I get the same mpg unless I'm on a roadtrip.
