Will seats out of any other Audi fit in the B5 A4? Just trying to do something about the typical torn driver's seat without going broke.

Any other 1.8 seat will fit. The next step is s4 seats, which need modification.

If all you want is a nice driver's seat, find a passenger seat somewhere and you can swap the cover over.

Grab an unripped passenger seat bottom from a partout, junkyard, or ebay, and swap it onto you driver seat. Others have done it before and it works great

Sport Cloth seats are an OEM option that have the same bolstering as S4 seats, but are manual and decently rare/desirable. Because they're manual they sit lower (at lowest setting) than S4 seats, which is great for taller people like me (6' 3").

But before I got my Sport Cloth seats I did a passenger seat cushion swap onto the torn driver's seat. Worked out great.

so will B6 seats swap over? Because I think if B6 seats swap then I imagine B7 seats would too. I swear I read somewhere that B6 and B7 seats are interchangeable

b6/b7 are interchangeable, just not with b5's

You can fabricate them to fit. The fronts anyway. It's a bit of work, though. You have to build things.

B6/B7 seats will take some major modification and fabrication to get to work.

I thought about putting b7 seats into my car. I wonder if I can get any brackets from anyone? I know there was a group buy a little while back. I already welded in B5 S4 seats. To anyone contemplating this swap. WELD the base, don't use rivnuts.

Do you know if the rears are the same for the avants?
