Hey guys, I'm new hear and started recently getting a problem with my audi. I have a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8. Just recently, my car started to shake and vibrate everytime I would shift from 1st to 2nd, and also from 2nd to 3rd. It is not as strong from 3rd to 4th but you can feel a faint shake. I have had many different people tell me different things, from its the fuel pump to change Transmission oil. Anyone else have this problem?

Does it vibrate with the clutch in or when you are releasing it after you move the lever? Is the vibration in the clutch pedal, or the lever or does if feel like engine misfiring? Do you have any vibration when just coasting in gear or in neutral?

I don't have solutions to offer, but I'm sure the answers to the above would help the experts here pinpoint the issue.

The clutch does not vibrate, but the car itself does after releasing the clutch after changing the gear. It feels almost like the car wants to stall in the middle of driving. It does not do it in neutral or in gear. It could be an engine misfire.

Checked the codes and one is an overboost, and then another is an oxygen sensor. Could it be the O2 sensor?

If its a front o2 sensor code, maybe. if its a rear sensor, no. Why are you overboosting? There are a ton of reasons for that issue and that needs to be fixed asap.

Thats what my problem is, I have tried to checking what is overboosting and theres a leak somewhere that I am getting fixed soon so idk why it would be overboosting. And it is bank 1 so the upstream sensor.
