RFB Reverse Led error from USP motorsports

Installed these http://www.uspmotorsports.com/Audi--...ED-Lights.html today. They claim these led won't give out any error, but I get error from both sides. Is disabling error through Vagcom the only way?

Odd, worked on both my B8 and B8.5 just fine.

Edit* would throw errors if I out it in reverse quickly after starting. Would wait about 10 seconds and it resolved this issue.

b8 and b8.5. Do they use the same reverse led bulb?

Yeah - mine pop with errors about 2x/3x a week - not every time into reverse though..... And they go out next time around.

That reminds me to pickup some dialectic grease to try and see if that helps.

Yep, I've used them in both my cars. One thing I will say, i did notice if I threw it in reverse quickly after starting it would throw an error. I would usually wait about the duration of the automatic headlight leveling before putting it in reverse and never got errors again.

I have some similar code free ones and if your battery is low, you will get the bulb error on the first reverse of the day. I landed up coding mine out.

I have these and I have never gotten an error.

I got an error bc I forgot to turn the car off while replacing them on my 2015 b8.5 the reverse are in the outside lights and not in the trunk hatch so I wanted to make sure which was which since some cars had four. Restarting the car cleared the bulb out code though.

You are right same thing for me too. If I go reverse too quick after engine start I get bulb error. And like you said wait 10 secs to avoid error.
