Ride Height Sensor Interchangeability

Is it possible to use a ride height sensor taken from the rear of a 2002 Audi Allroad on the front?

I know the front ones are interchangeable between left and right if one switches the arms.

I have searched the archives and found information on switching from side to side but not from back to front or front to back.
