Brembo rotors?

First time poster/two year owner here in need of new front pads & rotors at about 62k miles. Has anyone given these a shot? https://www.europaparts.com/brake-ro...ab-brembo.html

$599 for a front set. Does anyone know who the OEM rotor manufacturer is?

I've decided on StopTech street pads and am leaning towards the Brembo rotors. Thanks.

That's a steal. I'll buy a set if that's legit pricing. Brembo is the oem for the RS4 front calipers and rotors. These are OEM and priced very competitively.

Is anyone running these rotors on their current set up?

I'm so confused as to why there is such a huge gap in pricing for the Brembo brake rotors vs OEM if, in fact, Brembo is the manufacturer of our OEM rotors.

Remember that AP Racing makes a front rotor set for the B7 RS4 as well, Its a full float in bell mouting, 72V drilled rotor. I can help anyone interested with import of these or any other brake components.

I remember about 3 or 4 years ago when this was the normal price for our rotors. Then they went WAY up, virtually double, for some reason. I'm guessing the cars in general got to the age where people started needing replacement rotors so the extra demand drove up the price for a while.

Honestly, they're a damn good deal, but for another $40 you could get StopTech's which are arguably better due to being lighter, better vanes, and have the ability to put new rings on instead of having to buy the whole assembly.

link isnt working for me :S i see stoptechs for $750.

point taken though however, if i have the oppertunity to go OEM while paying less then aftermarket im in for that. the stock brakes are good enough for me. not tracking the car or anything.

also ECS rotors are on for $719 as well vs $750 for Stop techs

$627 shipped for me on the Brembos from Europa. The StopTechs would be my 2nd choice but the drilled set is not $724, it's $767. Regardless, I'm more comfortable with OEM-(ish?) Brembos and not concerned about future replacement costs as I don't track my car and only drive about 4-5k miles per year so these should last me a looong time.

My installation is set for next Tuesday morning so I provide more info in anyone's interested.

Same reason our OEM throttle body is $1,000 while the same part (direct replacement) sold for a Z06 is $400.

Just grabbed a pair off Amazon for $480 shipped, I'll report back once they arrive!

I had these installed back in December and they've been perfect replacements. My shop specializes in Audis and commented that they appear to be the very same OEM rotors.

Looks like Europa bumped the price a bit but perhaps you can source them from Amazon. If you are in need of new rotors and want OEM then I would not hesitate at all to purchase these.

I haven't had to tackle the rears yet so I don't have anything to offer on those. I'd be interested if you find anything out as I'm sure I'll need them at some point.
