Desperate for a good repair shop in southern Connecticut. Can you help?

Heard back from my local dealer and I need the following:

Intake manifold flaps motor - $1,100 + tax
    New spark plugs - $260 + tax
Emission system leak detection pump - $535 + tax

    OUCH!!!!

I am located in southeastern CT. If anyone knows of a very good Audi shop in the area I could use instead of the dealer, I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it!

    Thank you for your help.

you could probably do the spark plugs yourself, they are like $2-$8 each depending on if you go copper or iridium...

I thought the intake flap was a recall, but it is not expensive. And a $20 N80 will probably fix the leak detection pump.

Thank you. Unfortunately Excellerate was not much less than the dealer. I will contact this shop.

They are good guys down there, they are a dealer of ours and will get you set straight if you decide to go that route.

Shawn and Josh did what they could to get the pricing most reasonable for you. Unfortunately there just isn't much room for negotiation on services like this, especially when using all OEM parts. Unfortunately some parts are dealer only and you're going to pay a premium on them in some situations.

If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know, we would love the chance to earn your business.

Feel free to check out our Flickr page to preview a little bit of what we do day to day.. (this goes for everyone too!)

We are not the cheapest shop by any means however, that is not our main goal. Our goal is to repair, service and modify cars so that we deliver them with the utmost quality. With this we use parts that follow those same expectations. If you are interested in setting up an appointment, Shawn will take care of you.

    Take care,

    Greg

I've recommended 3 non audi people to Excelerate (Lexus/650i Grand Coupe/GTI) and the first thing i tell them is they are not cheap, but they do good work.. i believe out of the 3 .. 2 went there .. 650 had his rims and suspension done and GTI had his APR Flash done .. they paid and they haven't come back to me about any complaints or told me i did bad recommendation, well the GTI did but that wasn't Excelerate's fault.. that's something APR is still working on the GTI Flash.. he did tell me Excelerate did work with him on labor though.. but not every shop will be the right fit for you, but they do good work

Thank you doug97gxe. We appreciate the referrals as we believe word of mouth and referrals are some of the best advertising and gratitude for the hard work we do. Please email me at [email protected] directly next time you're in need of something as we'd love to give you a little thanks for helping us out.
