Best way/place to sell an '02 B5 S4 Avant

Hey guys,

Figure you guys are the best to ask this one.

I have finally decided to sell my 02 S4 Avant and wanted to see what you guys thought the best place to sell it was. My local Audi dealer really, really wants it, but of course they won't pay anything more than around a third of what they said it was worth.

I have put more money in it this year in repairs, than I would be asking for it (but, all of you guys know what these cost to fix) and just want someone who appreciates how rare the car is to get it. I mean, I am only the second owner (my brother was the first) and I still even have the window sticker and all the books.

So, what do you guys think....what is the best place to sell a B5 S4 Avant? (the car is my avatar)

You could always try selling it here. Expect to be lowballed.....it always happens. I would say try craigslist first out of everthing, and then autotrader. I sold my old avant off autotrader way faster then any forum and I got close to my asking price. Whats been done to the car? Mileage, options etc?

Well, you have maintenance records. You have an avant. It's an '02. Those are all goo things, the next question would be which transmission does it have as that makes a huge difference in terms of what pricing you can expect.

Out of curiosity, how much was the dealer offering? How many miles does it have?
