I do have an xtool vag 401 scanner. I dont seem to have drivability issues. my car Also has an mtm ecu, not sure if it matters. Possibly a throttle body issue.? After seeing how expensive they are holy jesus it worries me thats a huge chunk of money. Some input as to why this code would trigger my epc light to come would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely TB issue, btdt. Don't necessarily cause any problems and even adaptation works, not sure what causes the code. When you turn on the ignition does the tb make loud rattle.
2nd hand tb's should be found cheap.

For the xtool. There is a specialty functions menu that can walk you through the adaptation. Or turn the key on and don't touch the throttle pedal for 24 mins.
