I had a B5 that I loved, but it was getting old and I've always wanted a wagon. I had the opportunity to buy a 2004 6MT 1.8t cold weather package avant for $3000. It was rough, it misfired all the way home from picked it up, the hood was rocked chipped so bad it was rusting in spots, had a broken side mirror, blown suspension, hatch solenoid was dead, I could go on. On the plus side it had brand new tires, new batteries, all the major services done, new clutch and the interior was pretty clean minus the HVAC and headlight switch being chipped. But with all it's problems I had a soft spot for it, so I've slowly been righting the wrongs and making it the car I want.
The day I got her home, I immediately put new plugs in, this stopped the misfires
Picked it up from my friends shop where they wet sanded the paint and sanded the hood down and wrapped it in black vinyl to match and also installed new side mirrors
Installed new shocks, new upper control arms and strut mounts
Here she is with new the new suspension and 10mm spacers in the front and 15mm spacers in the rear
Next on the list is new door blades, better springs, APR tune and to enjoy it
