    Need brake pads.... rotor size?

    I need to buy some brake pads for my wifes 06 a4. I am looking on rockauto and they have pads for front rotors that are 288mm or 320mm. How do I know which ones i need without taking the brakes apart? It also says they are for an A4 base or A4 quattro. Aren't they all quattro?

    Thanks!

    No, not all A4's are Quattro.

    Think the rock auto website if off. The B7 stock front rotors are 320mm and the rears are 288mm regardless quattro or fwd.

    Shouldn't be hard to measure if you just pull a wheel.

    320mm = 12.6"
    288mm = 11.33"

    That's over an inch difference. But ECS doesn't show any 288mm on the front of that car. And all their rears are 288mm. I think vce123200 called it. Rock can be overly complicated sometimes.

    the rears are 288 the fronts are 320/321. This is the case with every single b7a4 ever made in the US.
