Motor mounts

I'm trying to order motor mounts from USP motorsports. I have a quick question about the motor mounts. Does a 2004 Audi A4 B6 1.8t need resistor bypass for the motor mounts? Please let me know asap. Waiting to get an answer to order. Thanks.

Nope. Pretty sure that is a S4 feature. The A4's dont have any sort of electronics on their motor mounts.

FYI B5 S4 mounts fit, they are <$30 ea. online, no resistors. Not sure what your exact needs are. Here are a few threads:

I just noticed that it was one mount at that price unreal... canceled the order going with 034.

Good call. That is so unrealistic for some mounts. BFI is trippin.

Are they ever not trippin? Their prices are wild. I still feel that the b5 s4 Febi mounts have to be the best option when comparing both performance and cost.

Which ones did you use on your 3.0? I can only find Meyle or 034 mounts for my 3.0

I havent swapped mine yet, but Im going with Febi s4 mounts. Think about it. If the 034 motorsport mounts fit the 1.8 and 3.0, and the b5 s4 febi mounts fit the 1.8 b6, then by the transitive property, the s4 mounts will fit the 3.0

Installed the Febi B5 S4 mounts four years ago. Holding up just fine.

That's the beauty of audi's. Lots of parts are interchangeable.
And lots of people on AZ know these cars inside out.

I posted in the question to dumb to ask but this question maybe better for here... I have a set of BFI stage 1 mounts and set of Febi S4 B5 mounts. I need help. I'm not sure which ones to install in my 3.0L. Its a daily driver Automatic and no performance mods. Is it worth installing the BFI? I never ran aftermarket mounts.

I don't have much experience with running different mounts, or knowledge surrounding the BFI mounts, but if I had both available to install on my 3.0, I'd go with the Febi's. But thats just me.

Thanks for that info, my 1.8T auto needed new mounts as both were cracked and both had collapsed. I almost bought a set of 034 mounts for almost $200 since an OEM left mount is 200...

I called my local napa and they had a a pair of OEM B5 S4 mounts in stock, i ended picking them up for $22 each. $44 in total, installed them yesterday, and their great!

It's scary how bad my old mounts were, i had to adjust the snub mount bracket about an inch up!

The other mount was even worse..167k miles on the car, not sure if there the originals though.
