This is my first post on audizine so please excuse any mistakes I make.
I have a 2008 A6 quattro 3.2 and I am having a pretty bad issue with the car cranking over for a long time before it starts when it's cold. When it is really cold the car will stop cranking and I have to turn the key again (I assume this is to protect the starter). I did some looking on this forum and ended up replacing the battery and the fuel filter but neither did a thing. There are no engine lights and I also have a VAG-COM which shows no codes. I took out the spark plugs with the intention of replacing them but ended up putting them back in because they looked like they were brand new. I don't think that it is a fuel pump because it is not starved at all for fuel once it is started. The only other thing that I can think of is coilpacks. Does anybody have any ideas about what this might be before I replace the coilpacks? I wanted to check because doing a set of 6 coilpacks is pretty expensive. Thanks!!
