    B8 S5 OEM Downpipe Diameter???

    I want to reinstall my OEM Downpipes but I've mixed up my set of downpipes with a few other sets from B8 S4s and B8.5 S5s.

    Does anyone know the diameter of the stock B8 S5 (4.2L) Downpipes?

    Also, do they have studs on them or do they use normal nuts and bolts like the AWE DPs?

    Can't say on the 4.2L down-pipes, but the stock B8.5 3.0T S5 uses studs. If someone else doesn't have an anser by the time I get home tonight, I'll measure the diameter of my stock ones (hanging on the garage ceiling) -- maybe that will help you figure out which is which.

    The stock B8.5 3.0T S5 downpipes appear to be 55mm, or 2.17" OD.
