    OT: SO stealing your car?

So... picked up a 2015 Ecoboost Mustang (6-speed manual of course), as she said she'd always wanted a Mustang. I'm getting used to the car, but obviously it's a totally different beast than my S4. Unfortunately with winter coming and her not having experience driving high horsepower rear-wheel drive at all - let alone in inclimate weather... I think I'm going to end up inheriting it for the winter. Thus, I was forced to give in and get a tuner and high flow filter for the car. 310 hp/320ftxlbs of torque at the crank feels mighty slow compared to ~390 hp/umm... don't remember ftxlbs of torque at the wheels and all wheel drive in the S4.

The tune should get the car up to 330 or something at the wheels. Hopefully the car will feel much peppier.

    The sacrifices we make...

So she can't drive for about 14 days this winter when the snow falls. Give it back to her until the snow falls. Just get an accesport and call it a day.

For the 5 days snow will be on the ground I kind of see it, but otherwise I don't see a problem if its just cold or raining.

Just make sure she has proper tires on the Mustang.

Even a car with 200hp can easily lose traction in the snow. I don't see the issue.

Put snow tires on it and let her drive it other than the snow days...

This. My mom is a bad driver in perfect weather, but she's driven my dad's V8 stick Mustang in snow before. Put some good snow tires on the car, and it'll be a huge difference.

Or make her drive it in the snow, then get permission to trade it in for an AWD like S3 lol.

It would probably be good experience for her.

I was annoyed enough finding the seat pushed right up against the steering wheel it seemed. Figured out how to encode the key so that when I unlock the seat goes into my position before I get into the car

Don't you have 2 keys? If you do, don't let her use yours. When you get in with your key, it should adjust to your seat, she uses her key, it auto adjusts for her.

Can you explain this process? I have a 2015 S4 and I haven't tested it, but fairly certain my car can do it.

I just bought the wife a Q7, and I find myself stealing hers more than she steals mine.
