So looking into a new car option. Trying to go cheaper for my daily while I rebuild my mk2. But has to be a 4 dr for the kids, them my mk2 will be sold once ready. Then parts or loan will be paid off.

    A. B5/B6 1.8t big turbo, 6spd Quattro
    B. B5/c5 s4 or allroad 2.7t 6spd
    C. A3 vr6 dsg

Wife likes the a3 cause newer, auto. I always wanted a 2.7t so I could do the 034 single turbo and enjoy a decent 450+ hp audi. But I could do that with the a3 vr6 as well.* Just more money.

Currently I drive a 2010 ram 1500, and a 2008 g8 gt. Wife daily the truck as she doesn't drive very much,* and I drive the g8. I love them both but paying 330$ a month on the g8 vs say 200 while spending money on the vw parts gets to be a pain.

    Two things....
    1. My build is on delay. For New Years I decided to have a bon fire and start it with gas. Not a smart move on my part. Went to light it and it blew up on me giving me 2nd degree burns on my arms and face. So build is postponed for a few weeks while my skin re-grows.

    2. Gave in and I ordered a brand new oil pan from Automation place that I linked in the first post. I was thinking about modifying a Touareg pan but I'm pretty sure the sub frame still needs to be modified with that and there's already enough stuff to deal with. That should be here in a few days.
