S6 C7 test drive and fun with an M4

Hey everyone new to the forum but been reading for years. Im currently in a stock s4 b8 and upgrading to an S6 avant. My dealer lent me one for 5 days and i knew right away within 2 minutes i was going to order one. The comfort for me was another level and the torque even in stock form is just a different league.
I need more barble and exhaust noise so once mine arrives a new louder system will be on first, then a tune.
Whilst cruising around i bumped in to an M4 and he wanted to play. He was behind me and floored it gaining quickly whilst i was at 30mph in 5th. I dropped it and floored it he never caught me. Even in stock from these things are quite something. I let him catch up a couple of times then gave it the full beans. The whole time he was going for it but couldnt quite catch me and would have never been able to over take. I gave him the obligatory flash of the hazard lights at the junction and waved but he just sped off. Not sure if he was pissed off that a sleeper got the better of him or what? But no acknowledgment. Most people near me are pretty cool and will give you thumbs up this guy didnt. Oh well. The S6 confirmed it at that moment it was to be my next car. All weather performance and a great family car that goes under the radar. These tuned must surprise the hell out of other drivers who fancy a bit of a go.

Looking forward to getting mine. Just a shame in the UK you cant order the black optics

Well - maybe you don't get the black optics but you get to order up an S6 as an Avant! Not a bad trade-off.

That is true. So you dont get theavant over the pond? How strange its the best thing audi does, fast estates.

We used to be able to get the S4 as an Avant but I'm not sure if we can even get the "A" models in that style anymore. No S or RS models as Avants. We want them, Audi says Americans don't buy them.

funny audi said they ran clean diesel engines too. Not mentioning that much lately wonder why?

I'm sure they have the numbers that prove Americans don't buy them even when they were available.
