    Auto dimming mirror issue

    Can anyone tell me if this is normal or not? When my S3's rear view mirror is dimmed, there's an 1/8" border around the perimeter that is not dimmed.

    It's the same on my side mirrors. It's the outline of the dimming panel.

    That's an intentional design, so that you would still notice the minimal glare from the headlights of a car in your blind spot.
