    Speaker/Radio Problems

I bought an aftermarket radio with a wiring harness adapter for my 99 A4 and after setting up all the wires, there was almost no sound coming from the front right speaker and little sound coming from the tweeter, And the sound coming from the front left side was audicble but the vocals didn't sound right all. Then I connected the radio with blue tooth instead of the aux cord and the audio sounded as it should. Solutions as to why the aux cord sounded as it did? also I'm headed to a pick n pull junkyard and there happens to be an 98 a4 there, anything I would need?

    Items That I bought

    Radio: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231325733291...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Did everything work prior to the install? Did you try adjusting radio settings i.e. fade, balance? Did you try a USB drive with music on?

before installing the aftermarket stereo setup, the factory didn't turn on. The aftermarket stereo does recieve power and I did try adjusting the fad and balance settings and I still had the same problem with the aux cord connection. And I have not tried a usb connection yet.

have you tried a different AUX cable? could be the cable, could be the jack on your phone. Since bluetooth works as it should, we know the speakers are good. Try the same inputs with different cables to see what results it gives you.

Tried the aux and my phone with different cars and speakers which led me to believe that they weren't the problem. And my front left speaker does seem to have some sort of audio output, but as i increase the volume, the speaker begins to scramble .
