    Clunking Noise

I've had a strange noise appearing on my B7 S4 for a while now

Put on H&R streets and H&R Sways just about 2 months ago

Whenever I turn at a low speed or hit a large bump while turning (my suspension drops) * note this doesn't happen always but its been happening more often
CV joints appear fine thus far
Are there any common issues that cause this dreadful noise.. Its driving me nuts

Did the clunking start after you put the new parts on? If so, i'd definitely check all the bolts related to the suspension to make sure nothing was left loose or loosened on its own. I had a slight clunk when reversing and turning after i replaced my shocks and noticed that the sway bar bolts (at the links) were loosening on their own. Tightened them up and all was good. Good luck.

Yeah it did, just checked the bolts, including the sway bar bolts. Any other common problems related?

Does the noise come from the front or rear suspension?

It shouldn't be too hard to narrow down what is causing it if it started happening after you put the new parts on. What I would do, is jack the car up and leave the suspension hanging. Grab ahold of the wheel and start shaking it with all your might. Put the car on jack stands and put a jack underneath the control arm and raise it up and down to check for play. You can also drive the car up onto a set of ramps and put a set of jack stands underneath the car for security, And have somebody slowly turn the wheel left and right while you look at your control arm bushings and the rest of your suspension links. Did you install new strut mounts when you put the suspension on?

Didn't install new strut mounts, second time someones mentioned that. Could they be over worn?

Yeah that could always be the cause. I had a MK3 VW GTI VR6 and it had worn out strut mounts. Caused something similar to what you are experiencing. I'd check everything else to make sure before you take the struts out to change the mounts
