The 4th Annual Ortega Audi run is coming soon!

Hard to believe it's been a whole year since the 3rd cruise. Last year was a blast and we even had some snow up at our main photo stop. This year we will be keeping everything pretty much the same as last time. Meet-up time will be any time after 8am and departing by 9am (SHARP!) .

Here is the meet-up location. Northwest Open Space 30291 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 image of entrance. Last year a few people had trouble finding the entrance so this year we have a photo to help out a bit.



IF YOU NEED TO GET GAS BEFORE WE LEAVE - On Crown Valley there is Costco Gas just west of the exit and off Avery parkway is a Shell, Arco and Chevron.

Many of you will remember Matt (AZ-IBroughtACamera) who took amazing photos during last years event. The word is he's going to head out again this year as well! Click the photos below to see last years pics. Show up early/on-time to have your car photographed.


The Route: Click the image below to see the map.


Basic Itinerary: Meet-up in San Juan (link above) anytime after 8AM.
- Leave the meeting spot by 9AM to head out past the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano onto Ortega and out to the first photo spot (also the first Bail-out spot for people wanting really a short run).
- Fun photo shoot and maybe a few snowballs then head down to Lake Elsinore
- Head South to De Luz Rd (Awesome drive)
- Lunch at Nessy Burger.
- Head Home or small group of left overs cruise back to the OC with me.

Let me know if you need bail-out directions or have any questions. I'll have my usual safety stuff riding with me just in case anyone has any auto problems: Tow line, water, oil, jumpers, Tire pump, tools and DUCT TAPE!

I'm going to go down to the meetup lot a little later today and double check that it's OKay for low cars and the rain didn't mess things up too bad. Last year it rained a few days before as well and the lot was fine. I'll post an update here if a change happens. If anybody is around and wants to join me send me a message or give me a call.

Somehow I missed this post. Would love to capture some rolling stuff vs. the usual stills. Something with a nice/interesting background would be ideal - and also a section with higher (legal) speeds.

Got new tires fitting last night for this drive. Woke up and the rear left is flat ..... Great.

Need to try and sort this before every1 leaves, but the shop doesn't open till 8am :(

If you have to fill it with air and drive to tucker tire off crown valley - they open at 730am and it's only about 5 min from the meeting spot.

I have an issue myself. Pulled into the driveway last night and heard scrapping front brake pad. Stoptech st-40 pads so no one has them in stock today who is open. I might be ridding along with someone else at my own event! Ha

I want to go to the place I got mine fitted so I don't have to pay etc. I just googled the zip code and there is one 3.7 miles from the meeting spot zip code.
