    just get mobil1 0w40. Cheap @ walmart $26/5quart. Very comparable oils.

    I find that oil consumption was higher with t6 than with m1 0w40. That's why I made the switch.

    I've never used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W40 because of the exact reason you posted here....it's difficult to find and probably expensive when you do. The above mentioned suggestions are popular because they're typically readily available. My employer has Castrol Edge Professional 5w40 in bulk but I still use Wally-purchased M1 0w40 because it's a better product @ a lower price.
