    Hey guys,
I used vagcom and got an error on my ABS because when im in heavy traffic and i leave my foot on the brake pedal like 1 min in holding down the abs and esp light both comes on the dash.. I did the scan and said it was my brake light switch front? Anyway i bought a new one there and i installed the switch.. I disconnected the other one and just put new one in and twisted like it should.. Now when i press the brake pedal, straight away the both lights light up? Im confused.. Please can someone help? I have the car still apart so i have access to the switch. Thanks!

It sounds like the brake pedal position switch is out of adjustment. I had the same problem with my upper clutch pedal position switch. I ended up using my multimeter to check continuity on the switch until I got it to connect/disconnect at the proper position.
