    burning smell after driving

    New car? Yes.

    Brakes, clutch packs...

    Exhaust probably even has a coating inside it which burns away...

    I had the exact same thing with my 2008 Acura TSX after a certain mileage, there was a burning smell more akin to rubber burning but I could not for the life of me figure out from where. It was to multiple shops with no luck. Still had the smell until I traded her in.
    I have yet to smell it on the S3 or the A3.
