Front Bumper Swap - Headlight Washers

So I am purchasing an S5 front bumper cover to put on my 2010 A5. My car does NOT have headlight washers, or ACC. If I were to buy an S5 front bumper cover from a car that did have headlight washers, would there be any problems installing it? I would think it would still fit and have the headlight washer imprints, there would just be no headlight washers inside. I want to make sure though, because a while ago I also assumed that an adaptive headlight would fit in a non-adaptive headlight car...which you all know does not work. I couldn't find much from a search. Has anyone done this themselves or know if it will fit?

Congrats on the bumper Nate! There is zero reason it would not fit, and you could even have your shop fill in the gaps while they are painting it.

So I've been thinking about this a little bit...and I was wondering how hard it might be to install headlight washers after I get the S5 bumper? Would it be as simple as buying replacement jets and putting them in the new bumper? Is there a connection on non S-line cars for washers? I do have a VAG-COM, so I could do the coding after the install myself. Is this possible? Just curious.

Nate, I'm really not sure. Are you wanting because OCD, and the functionality should be there, since cut-outs, or what?

I was really just curious if it was possible. If it was fairly cheap, I might try it. I enjoy doing stuff to my car so it would give me something fun to do, too.

I think the washer doors are attached to the bumper so you should be fine. I wouldn't install the washers it would just spray all over the car lol

No they'll work, we're only saying they suck. I make sure to never engage them.
