2013 Q5 Prestige but want the SQ5 instrument cluster

Does anyone know if someone has swapped clusters around yet? Im looking to pickup a 2013 Q5 3.0T fully loaded with every option out there but its for my better half. I have owned other VAG models and swapped clusters on my CC but wanted to know if anyone swapped clusters to get the nicer looking SQ5 cluster. It looks like new its about $1,200 which isn't horrible but wasn't sure if it would be plug play. I'm sure it would be very similar to the swap on my CC i did. Any input would be great! Hope to be on here soon more often! Spend most of my time on the ClubTouareg forums right now.

You need your SKC number. Which no one will give you, so the dealer needs to do the swap.

OK thanks, I thought that was only if it was a used cluster. On my CC if it was brand new, it allowed a one time entry of miles and all the info (options) and after that it required dealer SKC. Hmmmmm ok i'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

There was a guy who replaced his ugly low-res red display cluster with a facelift one with a high-res color display, so try to find him to PM. He posted about that in a facelift headlight retrofit thread either here or on AW iirc. Good luck.
