    Just picked up a 13' S6

    Hey everyone, I just picked up a 1 owner, 19K mile Ibis White 2013 S6 this past Monday. As you can see from my signature I am no stranger to cars or Audis for that matter. I am looking forward to getting to know the C7 S6 over time.

    FWIW, and being just 6 weeks into my Stage 1 S6 from my supercharged RS4 I can say: the RS4 power was brutal, and you felt it. The S6 surprises with what the speedo says: you don't feel the acceleration/speed as much, and when you look down you're like, 'Yikes, didn't think I was going that fast'. I DEFINITELY miss the 8,500 (8,250 stock) redline of the RS...that's the most painful piece to live without. The S6 turn-in is surprisingly good. The RS is smaller, and feels smaller all around. ..that's it for now.

    I totally agree with SPer! There are major differences between the two cars. What you said about not feeling the speed is very true. When I am going 50mph I feel like I am standing still but at 100mph I feel like I am around 60mph.

    I do love the way the S6 makes power effortlessly though and I haven't even had the tune performed yet. That will happen this coming week.

    I guess the 'yikes' factor is a common thing for the C7 platform. Even with my A6, I will be cruising on the FW only to realize I am doing 90-100mph . It seems very effortless- we realize it more when the dealership throws us into a rental Altima or Camry that needs WOT to go from 60 to 70 in 10s. Lol.
