    Lockin Questions

I did search the forum but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
    I drive a B7 Audi A4 2.0D and I'm desperate to know:

    1) Currently, you press lock on the fob once to lock all doors and the boot But when opening, you need to press the fob unlock 3 times to unlock, front doors first, then rear doors then boot. How the Hell do you make it so you press lock once for all doors and boot to lock and then press once to unlock all doors and the boot instead of 3 times.

    2) I want a nice beep beep noise when I lock my car doors. My car doesn't do it now but how do you make it do it? I have heard of a piece of software and a cable which you plug into the car somewhere so you can change a load of hidden extras. Is this true or horse 5h1t?

    Thanks

This is a combination of several topics.

The first has to do with the coding of the VAGCOM. You can set it to 1 click open/close all. Or other combinations. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...=1#post1227185

The second has to do with the alarm module, and from my reading it is usually the battery that has gone dead/failed or the siren. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...=1#post8091555

Thanks. For the second problem. Do all Audi's make this noise unless as you stated the Battery has gone or do some models not actually do it at all?

    Cheers.

I thought you could program the beep as well but I could be wrong...

My understanding to both above is yes. But check the battery, they're a common fault.
