    bleeding clutch slave cylinder

How is everyone bleeding their clutch slave cylinder? I am having trouble accessing it. I think if I could get the heat shield above the driver's side CV boot off I could reach it, but I can't seem to get tools in the right position to remove the top screw holding the heat shield on. Any tips? I've searched and am not coming up with much. Any help is appreciated.
